Time Frame: September-November 2015.

Location: Beirut National Museum, Baalbeck, Tyre, Jbeil.

Target Group: School students 11 to 15 years old.

 

Objectives:

To increase the students’ awareness about the protection of heritage in times of war, and to initiate them to UNESCO conventions. Social Media was used to send messages of unity and solidarity, and to create a global movement for protecting and safeguarding heritage under threat in the Arab region and elsewhere.

 

Outcome:

Eight workshops were organized in Tyre, Baalbek, Jbeil and the National Museum. More than 1600 students participated in them.
