Joanne Farchakh Bajjaly

As a journalist, she dedicated her work to heritage at risk in Lebanon and Iraq by writing for several newspapers and magazines including “L’Orient-Le Jour”, “Archéologia” (France) and “Al-Akhbar”. As an educator, Joanne works at Saint Joseph Antoura College. She also gave a series of lectures in U.S. universities among which Harvard, Yale, Georgetown, Chicago, Stanford and Pennsylvania. She initiated the concept “Learning history is fun”, which is applied in every educational activity organized by BILADI’s young and energetic team
